Overview
This training requires the person to demonstrate personal awareness and knowledge of health and safety legislative requirements in order to work safely and prevent injury or harm to self and others.
This course is relevant for those working on large project sites and is not limited to construction work.
The course curriculum for this course of training is taken from the Australian Unit Standard
CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to work safely in the construction industry and has been conceptualised to PNG legislation.
Units
PDTISF1-001 Certificate WHS Site Safe.
- Element 1 – Identify health and safety legislative requirements of site
- work.
- Element 2 – Identify site hazards and risk control measures
- Element 3 – Identify health and safety communication and reporting processes
- Element 4 – Identify incident and emergency response procedures
Cost
The cost of this course is based on a per participant basis, however, prices per individual can be negotiated on group bookings. The minimum number of course attendees per course is 10 people and the maximum number per course is set at 20 people. Note the cost of this course includes light refreshments.
